About this spot

Located in Scranton, PA, this site is accessible via Route 476N to exit 115, connecting to Route 81N and taking exit 184. From the exit ramp, turn left on River Street, then right on Meadow Avenue. Continue left onto Moosic Street/PA307, then right on Harrison Avenue and left on Mulberry Street. Proceed until reaching the N Webster Street intersection marked by a traffic light and City Slice pizzeria. Pass Redington Hall and turn left at Ridge Row. Park at the tennis courts, walk beyond them, and follow the train tracks. When you spot heavy graffiti and a guard rail with a marked metal pole, descend to the waterfall area. Located approximately 2 miles from another Scranton jumping location, this spot features multiple jump options. One side offers a smaller 12-foot drop. The opposite side has several elevated platforms, including one around 27 feet requiring a jump toward the falls, and another approximately 55 feet requiring clearance over a lower cliff face. The upper step falls reach an estimated 90 feet, though jumping from this height is uncommon. Visitors can also drop from intermediate heights throughout the formation. Water depth at the primary jump zones is substantial, with bottom not reachable from typical jumping locations.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
