About this spot

Starting from Lana'i City, drive in the direction of the airport and continue past it toward the harbor. At the Kaunolu marker, turn left onto an unpaved road. After roughly one mile, you'll see a King Kamehameha sign where you should turn right and proceed toward the coastline. Ample parking is available at the trailhead. A path descends through the valley and leads directly to the jump site. High-clearance or four-wheel-drive vehicles are strongly recommended due to the rough terrain of the access road.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
