About this spot

From Honolulu, take H1 West to exit 10, then turn right onto Waimano Home Road. Turn left on Komo Mai Drive and continue to its terminus at a circular area. Park along the road near the gate and proceed past it. The main trail extends approximately half a mile before reaching a marked point indicating Waimano Falls is three-quarters of a mile ahead. Bear right at this marker and descend the steep slope, staying on the smaller trail as it winds down through the valley. Three distinct pools exist at the destination: a large pool fed by a substantial waterfall, a minimal pool, and a third pool bordered by 15 to 20 foot cliffsides suitable for jumping. A rope swing is also available at this location.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
