About this spot
Along the Waianae coastal dirt path heading toward Kaena point, roughly a quarter mile in, you'll find a cove accessible through an opening. The right side features an overhang offering a straightforward jump into sandy-bottomed water. Exiting requires navigating somewhat challenging lava rock terrain on the right side near the cove's entrance. The location doubles as an excellent snorkeling destination.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
