About this spot
Sheep Bridge is a steel suspension footbridge over the Verde River in the Tonto National Forest, reached by a long, rough dirt road from the Cave Creek/Carefree area. Riverside pools and nearby hot springs draw swimmers; it is remote with no services, so scout the water depth carefully before jumping.
