About this spot
A wild cove on Mallorca's east coast reached by a 30-minute walk from the road, Cala Varques has a rock arch and cliff ledges where jumpers drop 15-35 ft into deep, clear water. Access crosses private land that has been contested — stick to the established path — and the beach has no services. Check the bottom near the arch before any big jump.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
