About this spot
The limestone cove of Lama Monachile in Polignano a Mare is a Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series stop, with the pro platform cantilevered off the old town's cliffs at 27 m. Everyday jumpers use the lower rock ledges flanking the pebble beach, around 20-35 ft, into deep Adriatic water. Crowded in summer and watched by police during events — pick the ledges locals use.
