About this spot
The Electra day-use area on the Mokelumne River, off Highway 49 near the powerhouse between Jackson and Mokelumne Hill, is a popular put-in and beach for swimming, rafting, and picnicking with pools below the powerhouse run. Multiple river-recreation sources confirm the swim beach and put-in, but none of the sources checked specifically document a cliff-jumping culture here (as distinct from general river swimming) -- treat any jumps as unverified and scout carefully.
