About this spot

Travel east on Route 120 from Oakdale for roughly 15 minutes until you spot the Knights Ferry directional marker on your right, then bear left to follow it. Turn left at the earliest available turn. Once the road terminates past the bridge, veer right into the Knights Ferry Visitor's Center lot. Head from the parking area toward the structures and the historic covered bridge. Follow the riverbank trail on the north side of the bridge. After several minutes you'll encounter a junction with restroom facilities nearby—proceed left here. At the subsequent fork, head right toward the river. Keep walking along the riverside path past a trash receptacle until reaching a sharp incline. Scale down and up the rocky terrain, and approximately 100 feet onward you'll find several jumping platforms at varying elevations between 10 and 40 feet. The water tends to be quite cold year-round, though it provides a welcome chill following a substantial leap during warm weather.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
