About this spot

From the highway near Eagle Rock, take the road leading to Bills Road, which is unpaved and rough. The route passes by a burial ground, a salvage yard, and numerous residences. Continue on this road as far as your vehicle will allow, then park. The riverbank is a short walk of roughly 30 feet from where you've parked. The rock formation becomes visible across the water. To reach it, wade through the shallow portions, though you'll need to swim the final approximately 20 feet. Current strength varies and can be substantial at times, so exercise caution. The water depth is unknown, though the bottom hasn't been reached, suggesting adequate clearance for safety. The formation sits on private land, though the property owner permits jumping and may offer refreshments.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
