About this spot
The stone bridge and waterfall gorge at Nesso on Lake Como is a well-known jump spot — locals leap from the bridge and the rocks beside the Orrido di Nesso into the lake, around 15-25 ft. The lake is deep right off the rock, but check for moored boats and shallow stones near the gorge mouth, and expect cold water even in summer.
