About this spot

Sperry Falls is a small (roughly 6 ft) cascade in town-owned Sperry Park, Woodbridge, on land donated in 1907 by Rep. Nehemiah Sperry, once used to power a wool mill. The brook splits over a ledge into a medium-sized pool that locals informally treat as a swimming hole, though posted rules prohibit swimming and it happens anyway. Parking is very limited along Sperry Road, which sees seasonal closures. The pool is shallow and shrinks in dry summers, and nearby rock outcroppings add a fall hazard along the short approach trail. No cliff-jumping culture is documented here — this reads as a low-height wading/dip spot rather than a jump spot; treat height and depth claims as unverified.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
