About this spot
Lula Falls is the well-documented 100-120 foot main drop on Rock Creek within the privately managed Lula Lake Land Trust on Lookout Mountain. Access is limited to 'Open Gate Days' (normally the first and last weekend of each month), requires an online reservation and a per-car fee, and swimming in Lula Lake below is explicitly prohibited by the trust -- only wading at the base of the falls is allowed. No jumping or diving culture is documented or condoned here; this reads as a scenic/hiking destination rather than an established cliff-jumping spot.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
