About this spot
Stonewall Creek Falls is a scenic 15 ft stairstep cascade in Rabun County's Warwoman Wildlife Management Area, reached by an easy quarter-mile walk down a gated forest road off Finney Creek Road (FS 152), east of Clayton via Warwoman Road. It's a well-documented, popular stop with dozens of online reviews describing a secluded sitting area at the base. Multiple sources treat it as a viewing and picnicking spot rather than a swimming or jumping destination - the drop is modest and no trip reports mention people jumping or swimming here. Fine for a short family visit; wet rock near the cascade is the main slip hazard.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
