About this spot

From Nawiliwili Harbor, it's approximately twenty minutes of driving to reach this waterfall location. Head out of Lihue toward Poipu on the main highway running along the south and west portions of the island. Continue for roughly two to four miles until you spot a relatively new animal shelter on your right side. Just before this facility, a local bypass road appears on your left—do not proceed further past the shelter. Turn onto this bypass road heading back toward Lihue, then take the first right turn you encounter. Follow signage for Kipu Road and travel along it for about one mile. You'll notice vehicles parked along the rural road at a curve. A three-minute walk along a marked trail from the parking area leads to the waterfall's upper vantage point.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
