About this spot
From Nawiliwili Harbor, the drive to this waterfall takes approximately 20 minutes. Head out of Lihue in the direction of Poipu on the main highway, traveling along the south and west portions of the island for 2 to 4 miles. You'll spot a relatively new Humane Society building on your right side. Just before reaching it, turn left onto a local bypass road heading back toward Lihue. Take the first right turn from this bypass road and follow signs for Kipu Road. Continue on Kipu Road for about a mile until you notice parked vehicles along the country road at a curve. From there, a short 3-minute walk leads to the top of the falls.
