About this spot

From Bloomington, head south on Highway 37 to East Dillman Road. Parking may be available along the left side of Dillman Road at a gravel lot, though this isn't guaranteed. To reach the "rooftop" cliff, enter the woods heading east and hike approximately half a mile south past a log yard. For alternative access, continue to the end of Dillman Road, turn right onto Fairfax Road, and look for parking further up on the right side—availability here is uncertain. Sanders Road (numbered 1, 2, and 3) offers additional parking possibilities if you can secure permission from property owners. Hiking trails through the woods lead northwest for roughly half a mile to reach the site. Avoid parking along the edge of Fairfax Road due to safety and access concerns.
