About this spot

Seventy Six Falls is a boat-access-only rock/waterfall feature near the town of Seventy Six on Lake Cumberland, about 7 lake miles from Wolf Creek Marina and roughly 45 miles west of Somerset via the Cumberland Parkway. Height varies with the lake's dam-regulated pool level; at normal pool it runs around 38ft, with jumps reported up to about 60ft when the lake is high. It's a popular houseboat gathering spot in summer, but the rocks at the top are slippery and several fatalities have occurred here; memorial crosses mark the site. There is no road access - arrival is by boat only.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
