About this spot
Located roughly 2.5 miles north of where Route 32 and Route 26 intersect near Eldersburg, MD, this spot features multiple jumping opportunities. Traveling north on Route 32 toward the reservoir, you'll notice rock formations jutting out on the left side of the road. These cliffs sit approximately 100 feet from the nearby bridge and can be accessed by walking along a drainage channel that connects to the roadway. The road shoulder in this area is quite expansive, providing ample space for parking vehicles. The site offers two main jumping options. The cliff formations are estimated at 20-25 feet in height, while the bridge structure itself presents a considerably higher jump estimated between 50-60 feet or potentially more. The water below is notably deep and contains no floating obstructions or hazards, making it suitable for jumping from both locations.
