About this spot

A Missouri State Park about five miles south of Belleview off Highway 21, free to enter with ample parking. From the picnic area it's roughly 100 yards to the Quarry Pond, a flooded 1930s-era granite quarry with smooth pink-granite walls and a popular low jumping ledge. The park doesn't formally supervise swimming here — there are no lifeguards, so check depth and edges yourself. Elsewhere in the park, the giant rounded granite boulders that give the park its name are open for climbing, and a wheelchair-accessible Braille Trail loops through them. Visit on a weekday if possible; the pond draws heavy crowds on summer weekends.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
