About this spot
From Boston, take I-93 North for approximately 70 miles to Exit 14 toward State Offices/Route 9/Louden Road. Turn right onto Route 202/US-3 and continue north through several traffic lights. You'll encounter Calvary Cemetery, a historic burial ground with distinctive entrance gates. Enter the cemetery and proceed to its rear section, where two small dirt parking areas are located; use the further back lot. A concealed trailhead near the parking area leads to a wider path. Turn left and head uphill. Two separate quarry areas exist at this location. The nearer quarry lies approximately five minutes from the parking area via the right fork. This smaller site contains roughly three jumps ranging from 6-7 feet to approximately 20 feet each. The second, larger quarry requires a 15-20 minute trek from the first quarry. Continue past the initial site along the grassy trail beneath electrical lines, staying to the right before re-entering wooded terrain. Multiple trail forks appear along the route; bear right at each junction without taking sharp right turns. Navigation involves staying rightward at splits, though some trial-and-error may occur on initial visits. The path becomes more intuitive with repeat visits.
