About this spot

Baby Flume (also called Dixville Flume) is a roadside gorge waterfall in Dixville Notch State Park on Flume Brook, about 0.1 mile from a pull-off parking area on NH Route 26. Water drops roughly 18 feet through a narrow rock-walled chute in three short drops, with smaller cascades and a pool downstream. It's documented mainly as a scenic picnic/photo stop rather than a swim or jump spot; flow is low in summer and much stronger after rain. No cliff-jumping culture is documented here — the gorge is tight and rocky, footing near the drop is slick, and depth in the pool is unverified.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
