About this spot
Glen Ellis Falls is found via a clearly marked parking area along Route 16 in Pinkham Notch. An underpass allows you to cross beneath Route 16 from the lot. The trail leads to the falls, descending through a lengthy stone staircase to reach the base. Two separate jump locations sit adjacent to one another, separated by approximately 6-7 feet in height. The lower platform is positioned on the far end of an observation point, which consists of a 3x3 foot rock platform. The upper jump is located at the rock wall and railing near the lookout area itself.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
