About this spot
Reached via a roughly 1.6-mile hike from the Bennett Street trailhead in Sandwich, NH, Great Falls drops about 12 feet on Pond Brook into a pool used for cooling off in summer. Flow is strongest in spring and after heavy rain and can run very low by late summer. Lower Falls sits about 400 feet further down the same trail as a separate, smaller drop.
