Pond Brook Falls is a real, remote waterfall deep in Nash Stream Forest, reached by a short 0.1-mile trail from a parking area about 5.7 miles down Nash Stream Road (off Emerson/Northside Road from Groveton). The falls are a hodgepodge of shallow cascades and rock slides totaling roughly 100 feet of drop across sun-baked ledges - described by hikers as modest rather than dramatic, better suited to wading and relaxing than jumping.
