About this spot

Starting from Cortlandt Manor, NY, take Maple toward Pleasantside Rd, then make a left onto Furnace Dock Rd. Continue with a left turn onto Croton Ave, followed by a right onto Apple Hill Dr. Turn left again onto Apple Hill Dr, then left onto Rome Ct. Leave your vehicle in the cul-de-sac at the road's end and walk into the surrounding woods. You'll need to cross over a low chain link fence to proceed. The quarry itself sits a couple hundred feet beyond your parking area. Much of the site's graffiti dates back to the 1980s or earlier, particularly the writings visible on the cliff itself. The primary jumping location is the 30-35 foot cliff positioned across the quarry. Numerous walking paths crisscross the area, making it simple to reach different spots around the quarry.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
