About this spot

Starting from Saratoga Springs, travel north on Route 9N through Corinth. Roughly 1.5 miles past town, look for a sign indicating Great Sacandaga Lake is 7 miles ahead—this marks Antone Road, where you'll turn left. Continue on Antone Road to a fork near Route 7, bearing left. After several minutes, turn right onto Conklingville-Lynwood Road (Route 8). The distance from Antone Road to Route 8 totals approximately 5.5 miles. Follow Route 8 for just over a mile until reaching a fork. The right fork leads toward the dam and bridge, while the left fork—your destination—curves gradually toward a small grassy park with benches. Park here, where you'll spot an old Water Authority tower. Several pulloffs line Conklingville Road on the right side while heading toward the tower; one of these offers access to a notable rope swing. This location is neither a traditional cliff nor bridge jump but rather a constructed structure with substantial depth beneath. Verify water levels and ensure adequate clearance before jumping.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
