About this spot
Little River Falls is a small falls on a tributary of the Little River inside South Mountains State Park near Connelly Springs, just below a ford on the Sawtooth Trail and close to the Little River Trail / Jacob Fork parking area, per hikingwnc.com's waterfall index. It is a minor feature relative to the park's marquee High Shoals Falls and is not marketed by the park or any guide as a swimming or jumping destination. Satellite imagery shows a trail/road network consistent with the state park's trail system near this pin. Treat as a scenic trailside falls, not a swim spot, absent further documentation.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
