About this spot
Situated within Pisgah National Forest, this location is accessed by leaving Main Street (SR1303) in Elk Park, NC and heading onto Elk River Road (SR1305). After traveling 4 miles down this road—where the final 1.5 miles becomes unpaved gravel—you'll find a small parking area with picnic facilities. The falls can be reached by walking a brief trail leading directly uphill from the parking spot.
