About this spot
Located in Superior, WI, this train trestle can be accessed by traveling south on East 2nd Street toward the taconite processing facility. Visitors arriving from Ashland or Eau Claire should turn left past the hockey rink situated beyond the plant, while those heading toward Wisconsin Point should turn right at the same rink. Continue driving until the road curves left, then look for a gravel parking area on the right. From there, a woodland path leads directly to the rail line, with the trestle situated immediately to the right of the tracks. The waterway beneath maintains sufficient depth for boat traffic, with jump heights ranging from 50 to 65 feet depending on the location on the structure.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
