About this spot
This is Robinson Falls, also called Corkscrew Falls, inside Boch Hollow State Nature Preserve on State Route 664 about 6 miles north of Logan, Ohio -- the original pin was roughly 20km off, south of Logan. Park in the small pull-off (room for about 3 cars) at the Zwickle Road/SR-664 corner and follow an unmarked, unmaintained trail over the guardrail down into the gorge to the falls, a roughly 15-foot drop into a pool. A free ODNR permit is required and must be displayed on your dashboard, and swimming/wading is officially prohibited in the preserve to protect the ecosystem -- some visitors have reported being told the area is private property, so treat access as legally gray. Loose rock and a steep, informal descent are the main hazards.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
