About this spot
Dripping Springs is the 77-foot show waterfall at Natural Falls State Park near Colcord, reached via a short, paved 1.1-mile loop from the visitor center to a railed overlook and lower viewing deck. It is one of Oklahoma's most photographed falls, plunging into a blue-green pool ringed by bluffs. Access is easy and family-friendly with a state park entry fee. Swimming and wading in the pool at the base of the falls are explicitly prohibited by park rules to protect the site, so this is a viewing/photo destination rather than a jump or swim spot; nearby public swimming areas exist a short drive away. Legal, well-maintained, and open year-round during park hours; flow is best after rain.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
