About this spot
Starting from Tillamook, head south on HWY 101 toward Hebo and Newport for approximately 14 miles until you reach Blaine Road. Turn left onto Blaine Road and drive 6.6 miles to locate a pullout on the right side where you can park your vehicle. The cliff area is immediately accessible from here, with a short walk down to the river where you can relax on the rocky banks. Be aware that certain sections have ledges positioned below the main cliff face, requiring careful selection of your entry point before jumping. The landing zone demands attention to detail when determining where you'll hit the water.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
