About this spot

From Portland, travel south on I-205 to exit 12A toward Clackamas-Estacada. Continue on this route until the turnoff for Estacada appears on your right. Follow the road to a fork and bear left, proceeding into Estacada. Locate the Cazadero Inn on your right side. Approximately one mile beyond it, turn right onto Faraday Rd, where a black and white Portland General Electric sign marks 33831 Faraday Rd. Follow this road to a yellow gate (typically open until evening closes it). Continue past this point until reaching a second gate that remains closed. Leave your vehicle on the left side, proceed around the gate, and walk roughly 0.2 miles. A small gravel pullout appears on your right adjacent to a power transmission tower. A trail starting at this tower descends toward the cliff area.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
