About this spot

Falls City Falls is located in a small town outside Dallas, Oregon. Starting from milepost 71 on Highway 99W (approximately 10 miles north of Corvallis), look for the junction with Surer and Airlie Roads, marked by a yellow caution light. Head west on Airlie Road for 12 miles until it terminates at a stop sign. Turn right onto Highway 223 northbound, then after 4 miles turn left onto Falls City Road to reach the town. Once in Falls City, Main Street splits into two routes. The right fork (Mitchell Road, unlabeled) continues 0.1 miles to a steep dirt path on the left side, which provides the optimal viewing perspective of the waterfall. Alternatively, take the left fork onto Bridge Street, cross the bridge, then turn right onto Parry Street where a small park sits 0.1 miles ahead with direct waterfall access. Falls City is also accessible via Highway 22 westbound from Salem, followed by heading south on Highway 223 through the Dalles.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
