About this spot

Located near Dingman's Ferry, Adam's Falls is accessed from I-84 exit 53 (the final Pennsylvania exit when traveling east, or the first exit after entering Pennsylvania from New York). Follow directional markers for US 209 South and US 6 West. In Milford, US 209 South branches left from US 6. Continue on this road through forested terrain until you spot Adams Creek, a modest waterway that the road crosses. A pull-off area sits on the right side before the creek crossing; turn around if necessary to reach this lot. From the parking area, walk down the road past Adams Creek, then turn right onto a marked trail. Travel along this path for approximately 1.5 to 2 miles to reach a compact pool with a 15-foot platform. Continuing upstream leads to the main waterfall formation, offering a 30-foot jump and a 45-50 foot drop. The creek above the falls provides excellent scrambling opportunities with numerous smaller jumps ranging from 10-15 feet dropping into pools 6-7 feet deep. Stream hiking and exploring the area are rewarding activities when proper safety precautions are observed.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
