About this spot
Correcting a geocoding error: this spot is not in Linden, PA (Lycoming Co., ~150 miles north) — it's Bald Eagle Road along the lower Susquehanna in Drumore/Peach Bottom Township, Lancaster/York County, near Wildcat Point and the Conowingo Dam. From Slate Hill Road, bear right at the fork onto Bald Eagle Road; where it later forks toward Benton Hollow Road, stay on Bald Eagle Road down to river-level parking. A short walk reaches a rock ledge locals call 'Peach Bottom,' about 30 ft high with deep water, plus a lower 12-15 ft ledge nearby. Watch for floating debris. Wildcat Point, a taller (60+ ft) and more dangerous jump with recorded deaths, sits a few miles downriver on the Maryland side — don't confuse the two.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
