Starting from Peach Bottom Marina in Peach Bottom PA, head along Slate Hill Road until you reach Bald Eagle Road at an intersection. From the Marina direction, turn sharply left; approaching from the opposite direction on Slate Hill reveals a fork where you should bear right. Continue on Bald Eagle Road past the point where it intersects with Benton Hollow Road—make a sharp left to remain on Bald Eagle rather than turning onto Benton Hollow. This leads downhill to a safe parking area marked by a significant dip in the road, a small gate on the left side, and a creek. From the parking spot, follow the dirt trail for approximately 20 minutes to reach the train tracks. Turn left at the tracks and proceed past roughly three houses on your left. Shortly beyond these residences, you'll notice a cut-out on your right side where the rock formation becomes visible. Other jumpers are typically evident in the area. The main jump reaches approximately 30 feet with adequate water depth below. Scan the water for floating debris before jumping. A secondary 12-15 foot jump exists on the side of the rock face for climbers descending. Exit by swimming to the appropriate location and climbing back up the same route used for entry. This location sits within a state park area with legal trail access. The immediate vicinity features friendly residents and sees minimal law enforcement activity. Conowingo, also known as Wildcat Point, provides another cliff jumping option along the same river within reasonable distance.
