About this spot
Erie Falls is the real, final 47-foot waterfall of the Ganoga Glen branch of Kitchen Creek, just above Waters Meet in Ricketts Glen State Park, PA -- again mislabeled as New York in the source text, though the pin correctly sits in the park. As with every named fall on the Ricketts Glen Falls Trail, swimming, wading, climbing, and jumping are explicitly prohibited and strictly enforced with fines, so there is no legal jump culture at this location.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
