About this spot

Heading south on Main Street in Waterford, you'll spot Jubilees grocery store on your right. Just beyond it, the road splits—bear right at this junction. Continue until you reach a traffic light and proceed straight through. As you climb the hill ahead, look for a "Snowman" sign on your left side near the top. A dirt road sits just before this sign; turn left onto it. Drive along this dirt road until it forks, then take the left branch. Keep going until you find a small parking area on the right side of the road, with a hillside path visible on the left. Leave your vehicle here and take the path down to the location. The site features a 115-foot trestle with approximately 8 feet of water below—landings here require caution, and injuries have been reported. A second trestle spans 30 feet and sits roughly 50 feet upstream, offering about 20 feet of water for impact. A rope swing is sometimes present near the 30-foot structure. The 30-foot trestle can be climbed to an 80-foot height, though this ascent is demanding. Important: This location is on private property. Extended visits typically attract police attention. Proceed with awareness of the legal and safety considerations involved.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
