About this spot
Blue Wall Falls is a roughly 30-foot cascade inside The Nature Conservancy's free, 575-acre Blue Wall Preserve in Landrum, reached by a gravel-road walk along the Palmetto Trail past two reflective ponds. The preserve sits in the historically moonshining 'Dark Corner' region on the SC/NC line and is well documented as a birding and photography destination. No source describes swimming or jumping here — it is consistently presented as a scenic overlook waterfall on an otherwise easy, family-friendly hike.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
