About this spot

Begin at Grapevine Mills Mall in Grapevine, TX. Take F.M. 2499 toward Flower Mound, moving away from the highway. After a short drive, you'll reach a major intersection at Lakeside Dr. Turn left and continue on Lakeside Dr., navigating through several roundabouts while maintaining your direction away from your starting point. When you spot a gas station on your left, make the first right turn available (this is your only option, as a substantial dam structure sits several hundred feet ahead). Follow this road until it ends at Rock Ledge Park. Park at the lot's terminus to access cliffs immediately nearby. For taller formations ranging from 25 to 30 feet, walk the biking trail that runs along the lake's perimeter.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
