About this spot
Reaching this spot requires water access since it's situated on an island. Most visitors arrive by boat, though you can arrange transportation to the island or paddle across by canoe. To get to the departure point from Route 7 near Charlotte, VT, head west on Ferry Road. At the first stop sign, turn left onto Green Bush Road, which eventually becomes Thompson's Point Road. Continue for approximately one mile, then turn right onto Deer Point Road, which leads directly to the shoreline. From the water's edge, you can view the island across the way. The cliff formations are positioned on the island's southwestern section and offer jumping opportunities between 8 and 55 feet.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
