About this spot
Starting from Roanoke, take Route 116 toward Burnt Chimney. Once in Burnt Chimney, continue on Burnt Chimney Road for approximately 15 miles before turning left onto Fox Chase Road. Foxsport Marina sits at the terminus of this road. Standing at the marina's dock near the fuel pump, proceed one mile ahead in a straight line. Bear right as you navigate around a peninsula while keeping to the right shoreline of the lake. Approximately one additional mile past the peninsula turn, the location appears on your left. During summer months, expect considerable boat traffic in this area.
