About this spot

Starting from Roanoke, take Route 116 toward Burnt Chimney, Virginia. Follow Burnt Chimney Road for approximately 15 miles, then turn left onto Fox Chase Road. Proceed to Foxsport Marina at the road's end. From the marina dock near the fuel pump, navigate straight ahead for about one mile. Bear right as you round a peninsula while staying along the right shoreline. Continue an additional mile past the peninsula's point, where the cliff site appears on your left. Expect heavy boat traffic during warmer months.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
