About this spot
A flooded slate quarry on the Pembrokeshire coast, the Blue Lagoon is a sheltered pool of vivid blue-green water that has hosted the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series. Recreational jumpers use the old quarry walls at 20-35 ft; the ruined tower is the pro platform. Depth is excellent and the water is calm even when the sea outside isn't — but it's cold, and the coasteering guides who run the site know the safe entries.
Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
