About this spot

Travel north on I-205 and cross the Columbia River bridge into Vancouver, Washington. Exit immediately after the bridge and stay in the left lane toward Camas. Follow Lewis and Clark Highway (Highway 14) through Camas and into Washougal. At the third traffic signal in Washougal, you'll see a police station with a tower on your left at 15th Street. Turn left here. The road becomes Washougal River Road (Highway 140). Continue for approximately 30 minutes until the pavement ends. At the fork in the gravel road, bear right toward the river. Travel about two miles on the gravel road to a bridge and park there. The jump site is roughly half a mile downstream from the bridge. Geological formations shaped by ancient lava flows from Mount St. Helens create distinctive river features in this area.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
