About this spot

Starting from Spokane, drive Division Street to Francis Avenue, then head west as Francis becomes Nine Mile Road and eventually WA-291. Continue through Tum Tum, then navigate the curvy section hugging the shoreline. When a sharp 90-degree turn pulls away from the water, park nearby. Cross the guardrail and locate a trail leading toward the lake, following it roughly a quarter mile until cliff formations appear. The initial cliff rises 25 feet, with taller options accessible by continuing along the trail. Alternatively, drive just past this area to a sign indicating Long Lake Campground 4.5 miles ahead on the left. Turn right instead to access Turtle Lake, a smaller body of water in the vicinity with modest but worthwhile cliff jumps that are simple to locate due to the lake's compact size.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
