About this spot

Starting from Spokane, take Division Street to Francis Avenue, then head west as Francis becomes Nine Mile Road and transitions into WA-291. Continue through Tum Tum on WA-291, which curves along the shoreline through a series of bends that hug the water's edge. Look for a sharp 90-degree turn that angles away from the lake—park near this section and cross the guard rail to access a hiking trail. After roughly a quarter mile of hiking, you'll encounter the first cliff formation at 25 feet. Continuing further along the trail leads to taller jump sites. Alternatively, drive past this initial area to the next curve where a sign indicates Long Lake Campground is 4.5 miles ahead. Turn right at this location to reach Turtle Lake, a smaller body of water with compact cliff options that are straightforward to locate due to the lake's limited size.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
