About this spot

Take I-205 north across the Columbia River bridge into Vancouver, Washington. Exit immediately after crossing. Stay in the left lane under the Camus sign and follow Lewis and Clark Highway (Highway 14) through Camus into Washugal. At the third traffic signal in Washugal, turn left at 15th Street near the police station with a tower. This street becomes Washugal River Road (Highway 140). Continue for approximately thirty minutes until the road transitions to gravel. At the fork, take the right branch staying toward the river. Drive about two miles on gravel to reach another bridge and park there. The jump location sits roughly half a mile downstream. Geological formations shaped by ancient lava flows from Mount St. Helens create distinctive river features in this area.

Safety first. Cliff jumping is inherently dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Conditions — water depth, submerged hazards, and access — change constantly. CliffScout is community-sourced reference information, not a guarantee a spot is safe. Always assess the conditions yourself before jumping, and never jump where you're unsure. You assume all risk.
